BSAC course chart

TEKSTREME can offer the following range of BSAC Technical courses:

BSAC Accelerated Decompression Diver

As a BSAC Accelerated Decompression diver you will be taught how to; Plan and conduct dives requiring mandatory decompression using nitrox gas mixes of not more than 36% oxygen when using BSAC Ox-stop decompression tables or 50% when using multi-mix programmable dive computer. You will also learn how to plan and conduct dives using nitrox gas mixes of up to 80% oxygen as decompression gases to accelerate decompression.

BSAC Sports Mixed Gas Diver

Educates BSAC Sports Divers with Advanced Nitrox training on how to conduct dives to a maximum depth limit of 50 metres. The dives will be conducted breathing a gas mixture of oxygen percentage greater than or equal to 20% and a helium percentage of up to 30%, for example, 20/30. This will teach you how to plan and conduct dives requiring mandatory decompression.

BSAC Explorer Mixed Gas Diver

Aimed at BSAC Sports Mixed Gas Divers who wish to extend your depth. This will allow dives to a maximum depth limit of 60 metres and conduct dives breathing a gas mixture of oxygen percentage greater than or equal to 18% and a helium percentage of up to 35%, for example 18/35.

BSAC Advanced Mixed Gas Diver

Aimed at Explorer Mixed Gas Divers looking to expand your training and extend experience to dive to a maximum depth of 80 metres. The training includes the use of any suitable combination of gas mixtures, gas planning, dive planning and dive considerations.

BSAC Evolution & Inspiration CCR

This Closed circuit rebreather course will train an existing sports diver to conduct dives with another rebreather diver to a maximum depth of 40m, using air as diluent only. The diver will be taught how to plan dives requiring mandatory decompression up to a maximum of 15 minutes. Students will also be taught how to rescue to similarly equipped CCR diver from depth to the surface along with other rescue management skills.

BSAC Sports Mixed Gas Rebreather Diver

For BSAC air diluents rebreather divers, the next progressive step is to participate in this course. You will learn how to competently conduct dives to a maximum depth limit of 50 metres breathing a gas mixture of oxygen percentage greater than or equal to 20% and a helium percentage of up to 30%, for example, 20/30.

BSAC Explorer Mixed Gas Rebreather Diver

The next step for a sports mixed gas CCR diver would be this course. You will learn how to conduct dives within BSAC Safe Diving guidelines to a maximum depth limit of 60 metres using a gas mix containing a minimum of 18% oxygen and a maximum of 35% helium.
