But here's where it gets intense: Understanding the Trials.
Each week, you'll be presented with a set of challenging tasks designed to aid the brave citizens of Speranza. These aren't your run-of-the-mill missions; they rotate weekly and can involve anything from gathering vital medicinal plants to eradicating a troublesome ARC unit infestation, or even recovering crucial data from remnants of pre-collapse technology. Think of it as a dynamic to-do list for heroes!
And this is the part most people miss: The stakes are high.
Your progress in these Trials is tied to a single raid. If you fall, not only do you lose your precious gear, but all the hard-earned progress you made within that specific raid is wiped clean. It’s a true test of survival and strategic execution.
However, successfully extracting with your completed Trial progress will be met with generous rewards. You'll receive a curated selection of blueprints, powerful weapons, and essential gadgets – a token of gratitude from the very people you're fighting to protect.
Here's how you rack up those accolades:
Challenge rewards are earned by accumulating 1000, 2500, and 4000 points within any single Trial. These milestones are marked by stars, progressing from one to three, signifying your validated progress. Achieving three stars in a particular Trial means you've unlocked the maximum tier of rewards for that challenge. But why settle for just that?
Each week, you'll be competing against 100 other Raiders. It's a fierce competition where everyone is vying for promotion to the next rank. Push yourself to the absolute limit to secure that top score, propelling you into the elite ranks of Raider legend. On the flip side, if you don't contribute enough, you risk being demoted back to the rank-and-file rookies. It's a constant climb!
The ultimate prize? When Season 3 concludes on April 29th, your final rank will determine unique cosmetic rewards. Maintain the rank of Rookie II by the end of the season, and you'll unlock the exclusive Trials Season 3 outfit: The Torque. Fancy pushing even further? Reaching Daredevil and Hotshot ranks will unlock additional alternative colorways and outfit variants, allowing you to truly stand out.
